Celebration Sunday at FBCMel

Sunday, June 29

8:45 & 10:30

VBS is one of our favorite weeks of the year—and we can’t wait to celebrate it with your family! Whether you’re counting down the days or just wrapping up a fun-filled week, we want to invite you to Celebration Sunday at FBCMel on June 29.

Join us in either of our worship services at 8:45 or 10:30 AM as we celebrate everything God is doing in the lives of kids and families through VBS.

What to Expect

In both services (8:45 & 10:30 AM on Sunday, June 29), you’ll experience:

  • VBS kids on stage singing a song from the week

  • The exciting reveal of our VBS offering challenge winner

  • A special highlight video of all the fun and faith from the week

  • A preview of what’s coming next—including Freestyle Camp this summer!

🎶 Kids will be part of the service!
All VBS kids will be invited on stage to sing during the service. Plan to arrive a few minutes early and head to the Worship Center as a family—we’ll give directions when you arrive.

Worshiping as a family is part of who we are.

At FBCMel, we believe worship is for the whole family. That’s why we always encourage elementary-aged kids to attend the full worship service with their parents—not just on special Sundays, but every week.

We’ve found that many families begin this rhythm somewhere around Kindergarten or 1st grade, but the truth is: there’s no “perfect” starting point. It may feel hard at first, and that’s okay. We trust parents to decide when their child is ready—and we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

We also want you to know: all ages are welcome in our worship services. If you’ve got a younger child who’s ready to join you, bring them! If your family needs to use our nursery or Kids Groups for a season, that’s okay too.

Kids Groups will be available during both services (8:45 & 10:30 AM) for birth through 6th grade—but we’d love for your elementary-aged children to worship with you whenever they’re ready, just like every Sunday.
